Permalink Reply by Nicholas Holland on April 2, 2011 at 7:31am Agreed! After years of exploring new ideas, I recommend sharing your idea with anyone who'll listen & solicit their feedback. Ultimately, very few (nobody?) people will be as excited or passionate about a new idea as you are.
Once you have a product and are in the evolution phase, well - then ideas should be protected. Those aren't so much ideas as innovation roadmaps.
