"Definitely a cool idea, I love it. A couple questions: 1. How does it make money? Charge to let the founder post? Charge to let the potential step-founder reply? Some value-add services (background screening for potential step-founders, etc.)? 2.…"

Oxygen (Encouraging audience) a spark (my idea) and fuel (pursuing it)

I wanted to thank everyone for being an encouraging audience when I made my pitch Friday! I respect the group a lot for the head nods and the patience as I stumbled through.

I realize my idea for supporting homeless bloggers didn't have a real business model that made money, so it made sense that it was weeded out, since it lacked a larger entrepreneur angle.

Hey Nate,

I'm the owner of a tech community venue in Lexington, KY called Awesome Inc. We've hosted SW a few months ago here and now we're having a Mobile miniConference on July 18th. There will be speakers from the original facebook mobile, Yahoo!, and speakers on Google Android, Palm Pre, the iPhone. We'll even have a workshop that will walk you through how to build your first iPhone app.

Just wanted to let you know since you're obviously into the tech startup scene in some way, and you're not that far away from Lex (and this is the only mobile conference (that I've heard of) in the midwest).

Have a good day, and I hope to see you up here if you can make it!

-Luke
